I'm Russell O.

I'm a full-stack developer with professional experience building scalable web applications using modern frameworks and tools.

On the frontend, I work primarily with React (including Next.js), Tailwind CSS, and Inertia.js, delivering clean and responsive user interfaces. For the backend, I specialize in Laravel and PHP, building secure APIs and real-time features using tools like Pusher. I also work with Supabase, MongoDB, and JWT for authentication and data handling. My projects often integrate AI and machine learning features, and I've built systems with webcam monitoring, browser lockdown, audio streaming, and PDF/DOCX parsing, etc.

I started programming in 2017, first with Java, then vb.NET, C++ and C# (which I used to build a desktop application for the University of Benin during my Industrial Training in 2019), but my web journey accelerated in 2022 with hands-on training through Zuri and Ingressive for Good, followed by the HNG internship, which solidified my backend skills. Since then, I've developed numerous applications across e-commerce, education, gaming and productivity domains. I continue to grow as an AI-focused developer, deepening my expertise in intelligent automation, real-time systems, and user-centric design. I also have experience in computer hardware, embedded systems, RPA, and graphics design, and I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Benin, Benin City.
